Energy Programs Engineer/Key Account Manager
West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative

Corey Belcher currently serves as the Energy Programs Engineer and Key Accounts Manager at West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative, where he has worked since 2009. He serves as a liaison between the cooperative’s key commercial and industrial accounts and coordinates energy efficiency programs, including the Residential Energy Audit Program, which he created and launched in 2018.

Corey also owns and operates Belcher Electric, an electrical contractor focused on electrical installations and upgrades for residential and light commercial applications.

Corey is a Licensed Master Electrician and a Licensed Electrical Contractor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Murray State University and has completed the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Certified Power Executive Certification program.

A Marshall County native, Corey is married to Amie Belcher and has two children, Tyler and Abigail. They attend New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Benton, KY.
